Asian American & Pacific Islanders Heritage Month
This session explores the rich heritage of the Hawaiian Islands, providing an in-depth look of the islands' history, the hardships faced by Native Hawaiians, and the evolution of Hawaii's unique multicultural society. This lecture will also touch upon pre-contact and post-contact life, including the navigation skills of early Polynesians and the impact of Western arrival.
